Incident Response Consultant – City of London - Contract or Permanent.
Motivated Computer Security Expert within your field of specialism, forming integral part of this Technical Practice, comprising Trusted Advisors focused upon accurately addressing critical issues in a precise manner. 
Your perception and proactive actions in terms of likelihood and severity of short and longer term attacks, enabling your Clients’ peace of mind. Application of your skills with bleeding edge technology, addressing highly sophisticated Incidents. Your ability to locate appropriate solutions for multiple complexities of issues within each assignment. 
Provision of means for identification of and mitigation for each relevant aspect assuring peace of mind for your Client(s). Providing robust solutions to complexities of critical Client Information Security challenges, resulting in appropriate outcome. Comprehensive situational analysis. Subsequent design and execution of robust solutions, assisting prestigious multi-sector Client organizations to detect and respond effectively to business critical challenges. 
Core Skill-Set and Experience:
Several years’ experience with Incident Response activities;
Solid understanding of, and experience with Digital Forensics;
Programming language(s) supporting scripts within run-time environments;
Malware Analysis determining origin; functionality; potential impact to assess risk upon host O/S thereby assessing potential for rogue access to sensitive data prior to expected authentication process: gaining requisite level of permission authorizing such access. 
Threat Intelligence:
Effective Incident Handling:
Client Interaction to include Technical Report Writing, presented in a clear and concise manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Incident Management: Leading site-based engagements, tracing and accurately identifying malicious activity across entirety of Client IT estate.
Incident Analysis: Conducting, on behalf of Clients, highly technical in-depth investigations: analysis across: network; host based; malware; forensic; log; intelligence resulting from the Team’s significant collective ability.
Threat Intelligence: Maintenance and Development of Business’ Intelligence capacity: ongoing Threat Landscape exploratory activities and investigation into current and emerging threats.
Technical Development: Taking responsibility for Systems Engineering and Re-Engineering utilizing your proficiency in creative design for deployments key to continued advancement of the practice and, by default, individuals within it. 
Based from the central London Client site(s). 
Superb Basic Salary in concordance with your existing level of technical proficiency / excellent Day Rates available.
