- Internet Gateway Engineer – Contract – Wolverhampton; Edinburgh; Manchester.Locations: Wolverhampton; Edinburgh; Manchester. Financial services experience preferred.Joining the Internet Gateway Services Team, managing infrastructure and technologies providing Internet Access and Malware scanning. This team is responsible for: implementation; configuration; maintenance of Bluecoat proxy, McAfee Web Gateway and Trustwave (M86) Malware scanning infrastructures. Implementation of Internet Access policy to Group Security & Fraud standards and guidelines. Project engagement and appropriate changes providing external internet access to internal services and applications.Key responsibilities:• Configuration; support; management; change on Bluecoat Secure Gateway proxy servers, Trustwave Secure Web Gateway & McAfee Web Gateway devices.• Product capabilities across: Bluecoat Proxy Secure Gateway; Trustwave Secure Web Gateway; McAfee Web Gateway. Implementation; configuration; maintenance of infrastructures supporting internet access and malware scanning.• Technical activities supporting project delivery; service improvement; ongoing platform support.• Installation and maintenance for products and services to required standards; policies; agreed service levels.• Contribution to design and implementation of detailed technical solutions, ensuring adherence to Team’s technical roadmaps and strategies.• Provision of technical support to include incident and problem resolution for systems and processes within complex environments.• Strong quality and service focus. Ability to identify and drive technology and process improvements.• Strong oral and written communication ability when addressing differing target audiences.Generous daily pay rate of £510 is available. Immediate start date. Three-month initial duration.
